The Journal of Radiology and Oncology (JRO) is an open access journal. To cover the costs associated with high-quality publishing services, we levy Article Processing Charges (APCs). These charges ensure immediate open access, rigorous peer review, and permanent archiving of published work.

What the APC Covers

Exemptions and Discounts
- Authors from low-income countries (as defined by the World Bank) may apply for fee waivers or discounts.
- Editorial Board Members and active reviewers are eligible for reduced APCs.
- Special issues may include subsidized charges depending on funding availability.
Payment Policy
Payments must be completed only after manuscript acceptance. APC invoices are issued electronically, and payments may be made via bank transfer, credit card, or secure online payment systems.
Refunds
APCs are generally non-refundable once peer review begins. Exceptions and refund eligibility are outlined in the Refund Policy.
Note: JRO does not charge submission fees or page charges. Only accepted manuscripts are invoiced for APCs.
