Dealing with Misconduct
JRO follows COPE guidelines to address misconduct:
- Plagiarism: Manuscripts are screened with plagiarism detection tools. Proven plagiarism results in rejection or retraction.
- Duplicate submission: Submissions must not be under review elsewhere. Violations result in withdrawal.
- Data falsification: Manipulated or fabricated results are grounds for rejection and reporting to institutions.
- Ethical breaches: Non-compliance with human/animal ethics is cause for rejection.
