Repository Policy
The Journal of Radiology and Oncology (JRO) supports green open access through self-archiving and encourages authors to deposit their work in institutional, subject-based, and international repositories. This policy ensures compliance with global funder mandates and enhances research visibility.
Author Rights for Self-Archiving
- Preprint Version: Authors may deposit the submitted manuscript (pre-peer review) in any repository at any time.
- Postprint Version: The peer-reviewed, accepted version may be archived immediately upon acceptance.
- Published Version: The final PDF version published by JRO may be deposited without embargo, provided that proper citation and DOI are included.
Conditions of Repository Deposit
When depositing in repositories, authors must:
- Clearly acknowledge the original source of publication in JRO.
- Include the DOI and a link to the published article on JRO’s website.
- Retain the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0) terms.
Supported Repositories
JRO encourages deposits in:
- arXiv and related subject repositories.
- Institutional repositories managed by universities and research organizations.
- Zenodo and Figshare for open data and research outputs.
- National and international databases (e.g., PubMed Central where applicable).
